Click here to download the textyper_ set up file, ttsetupv101.exe

When prompted by the download software, choose the option "Save this program to disk" and click OK. Then select the desktop folder on your computer and choose the “Save” option

Allow the file to completely download

Close all applications that are open, including Internet Explorer and locate the downloaded textyper setup file on your desktop

Run the file from your desktop by double clicking it with your mouse

A pop up box will appear. Click setup to start the installation process or click cancel to stop

Another pop up box will appear warning you that installation may not take place if other applications are running. Click ok if you have closed all applications

You will now be prompted to change the default installation folder (C:\Program files\textyper) if required. It is recommended you choose the default option and click the button as instructed

You will now get the program group option. This is where the program will appear in your program list. Choose the default by clicking continue to place the textyper_ icon in your start/programs menu

Installation will now take place

Click ok once the installation has finished. Set up is now complete

You can now open your textyper_ program from the Start/Programs menu or click on the textyper_ icon which should also have appeared on your desktop

Enter your username and password and click login. If you do not have a username and password click the new user button. This will take you to the sign up page on this website or click here to create a textyper username/password. Complete the form and you will be emailed your username and a password to allow you to start using textyper_

Once you have logged in, you will need to purchase texts to credit your account. Do so by clicking Purchase Texts on the home page
